Brand ID

This page serves as a guide on how to handle the Venero brand ID as a stockist, employee or Venero Pod. For a more detailed explanation of brand assets, please contact connor@diomedia.co.za.

Venero Brand Voice

The Venero brand voice is warm and somewhat casual. We’re a young business led by young people, and as much as we should be taken seriously, we should also be approachable. Pizza isn’t a snob-ish thing and so if that’s what we start to sound like, there’s a problem.

Venero should be marketed by showing real value, not just spamming CTAs. We need to be putting out high value content, whether that’s print, video or photo. People need to either learn something, laugh or just drool over some good pizza.

Logos

All the general rules apply – make sure that there is ample contrast when placing the logo on something. It shouldn’t have to fight for attention, so make sure you don’t put a green logo on a green background. In terms of scalability, we have different versions of the logo that can be used on different backgrounds and at different sizes. Please download our brand kit to get all these versions of the logos.

Colours

The two main Venero colours are a tan with the hex code #FDEEAA, and a green with the hex code #003707.

Typography

The backbone of any brand in this digital age is a typeface. We’re running with Cabin for almost everything. It is free on Google fonts.

Very sparingly, Fat Black Cat can be used in some designs. It’s an incomplete font, and not highly legible, so should only be used sparingly. It is freely available on DIO media.
